A membrane switch drawing must connect the operator experience to a manufacturable stack. JASPER reviews key geometry, circuit routing, tail and connector, graphic overlay, tactile response, windows, lighting, adhesive, sealing, enclosure fit, materials, and inspection references before a sample is released.
JASPER can support design-for-manufacturing review from a dimensioned concept, existing switch, artwork, circuit, or customer CAD package. The review does not replace the OEM's system engineering. It makes the component boundary explicit: what the switch must do, how it mates to the enclosure and electronics, which characteristics are critical, and which evidence will approve the first production-intent sample.

Mark unknown values instead of copying assumptions from another part. A useful review can begin with partial data when the open decisions are visible.
Yes. A sketch, photographs, an existing part, enclosure dimensions, or partial CAD can start feasibility review. Final tooling still needs a controlled dimensional, artwork, circuit, connector, material, and approval package.
Typical checks cover layer stack, key geometry, trace routing, contacts, tail and connector, windows, lighting, graphics, embossing, adhesive, sealing paths, registration, tolerances, converting, assembly, inspection, and packaging.
Force is one input, but key area, dome type, spacer, overlay, embossing, backing support, travel, enclosure, test method, and subjective reference can change the perceived response. Approve feel in the intended assembly.
Release tooling after open dimensions, artwork, circuit, stack, connector, materials, sample purpose, critical characteristics, and approval responsibilities are recorded. Unresolved assumptions should be named, not hidden.
Send the current drawing, enclosure, artwork, circuit, quantities, and unresolved risks for a component-level DFM review before tooling.
